Process
The Process project constitutes an archeology of the process of making a sculpture.
Prune Nourry locates and extracts relics of already-created or evolving artworks and "fossilizes" them, freezing them in time like amber insects. She showcases what is usually hidden. The mold, fundamental but invisible to the public, becomes precious once transformed into bronze.
Process, a long-term project, is a tribute to craftwork, to the collaboration between the artist and artisans of many different trades, and an invitation to the viewer to discover what goes on behind the scenes.
