Fractal Lungs

In the ongoing series In Vitro, which started in 2010, Nourry uses found laboratory glassware to create unique sculptural pieces inspired by genetics.

These installations offer another step into the artist’s medium exploration and further questions the introduction of science in procreation, and the selection of human embryos through pre-implantation diagnosis.

The In Vitro Fertilization sculptural installation shows the organs of a human chest, while In Vitro Mater mixes lab materials with cow-milking equipment recreating a new type of hybrid.
