In Prune's Imbalance series, the artist re-appopriates tools traditionally used to balance the body flow such as acupuncture needles and suction cups. Instead of conveying healing, these tools are used to suggest illness or threat in the resulting sculptures.

Inspired by Chinese philosophy that prioritizes balance, the artist points to the demographic and ecological imbalance China faces today. Presented in conjunction with the main exhibition in New York City, Nourry immersed her Imbalance series in an intimate Chinatown back-and-foot massage center in September 2014. She mixed original artworks with traditional reflexology posters and the center's ubiquitous fish tanks.
