Terracotta Daughters / Trailer
The Terracotta Daughters feature film will be released in 2030, directed by Prune Nourry and edited by Anne Sophie Bion (imdb.com/name/nm2691134/).
After her Holy Daughters project in India, Prune now reflects upon gender preference in China. She immerses herself in the local culture through the familiar symbol of the Terracotta Soldiers, by creating an army of 108 life-size Terracotta Daughters sculptures in collaboration with Chinese craftsmen.
The Terracotta Daughters Army, made in China all along 2013, travelled in 2014 to Shanghai, Paris, Zurich, New York and Mexico City. The Army will be buried in China in 2015, and will be excavated in 2030.
